Well, things have been a little busy lately, and I don't think they're going to slow down for a while, either:
I moved from California to the East Coast (Maryland)and started a new job at the end of April. It took more time and effort than I realized to pack and load everything for moving (not to mention cleaning the house afterward), but with the help of a good friend I managed to meet the deadline for the movers to pick up the moving/storage pod on schedule. I then spent about five days driving across the US with two cats in my car. It went pretty smoothly, all things considered, though I wasn't sure who was going to go mad first--me or the cats.

I arrived in Maryland on April 27, and started my new job in Washington, DC the next morning. That's going well, though I've so much to learn...!
One little hitch: I'm supposed to be buying a house next Friday, but the seller is trying to get out of the contract. If she succeeds, it'll be a month at least before I can find another home and move into it. I've contacted an attorney, but I won't know for sure if things will go well until later this week. I'm hoping I don't have to do more than I have, but this may go to court--which will take months. Aaahhh...
Anyway, at least I've started a new job and money is coming in instead of going out, and that's a good thing!
Hope you're all happy and well!
Sean
